Andhra Pradesh HC:?Vacate Islamic school’s illegal floors
Hyderabad: Justice Nooty Ramamohana Rao of the AP High Court directed the authorities to prevent the use of those floors of the Islamic Arabic School, Tondawada, near
Tirupati, which are not covered by building permission.
The judge directed the school’s management to explore the possibility of shifting the girl students as the building had no occupancy certificate, and report to the court.
The judge was dealing with petitions filed by the school against the government and others opposing it.
The school society said the Tondawada gram panchayat was threatening to demolish the building though it was ready to pay the amount to regularise the extra floors
constructed by them.
The collector submitted a report to the court. Upon reading it, the judge wondered how the building was put to use.
The judge said that if the inmates were boys, he could have ordered eviction forthwith.
