According to the data collected from Public Lending Right, part of the British Library, Rowling, who once dominated the list of Top Ten Most Borrowed Children's Books, failed to even feature on this year's list, the Daily Express reported.

The list was topped by Daisy Meadows' 'Rainbow Magic', followed by 'The Gruffalo' by Julia Donaldson.

Francesca Simon's 'Horrid Henry', 'The Story of Tracey Beaker' by Jacqueline Wilson and 'Kipper, the Dog and Wibbly Pig' by Mick Inkpen concluded the top five.
