Tirunelveli: Rare earth exporter V. V. Minerals Private Limited has been given the ‘green card’ by the Central government to enhance mineral export from India.
Union minister of state for commerce and industries Sudarsana NatchiÂappan disclosed this while presenting the top exportÂer award to the beach mineral company at a function held in Kolkota on DecÂember 26.
The private mineral exporter, one of the leading miners, processors and exporters of rare earth in the country is said to have received the export award for the last 22 years consecutively.
Receiving the award on behalf of VV Minerals, its chairman S. VaigundÂaÂraÂjan is said to have assured to ensure mineral mining within the norms stipulated by the state and the central governments.
He added that the company adhered to its responsibilities to people in the areas of its operation through its effective CSR programmes too. He added that VV Minerals had its top officials specially trained by the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE).
