Actors, filmmakers and technicians travel widely across the globe for shoots. Despite getting to visit some breathtaking places and stay in luxurious hotels, one hears that they don’t really get to unwind as work is constantly at the back of their minds. Hence, many from Kollywood take a long vacation, at least once a year, to let their hair down and take a break from their hectic schedules. As we earlier reported, Hansika, one of the most sought after actors in Kollywood, is having a whale of a time with her friends and family in New York. She recently tweeted, “New York is a dichotomy of a city. All the hustle bustle and yet an underlying layer of loneliness. Happy and peaceful.” Although Hansika is health-conscious, it appears as if the actress is in no mood to count calories during the holidays and has been indulging in all that her dear friend Ritu makes for her. “The delicious chicken salad by Ritu Madhok. Well clearly I’am forced to eat this! The knife is pointed at me.” Despite the gloomy weather, Hansika has been making efforts to keep her friends and family happy by cooking some scrumptious food for them.
Actress Amala Paul, who has also had a busy year, is holidaying in Europe with her family. On Christmas, the star posted a picture of herself standing next to the lit-up Eiffel Tower and wrote on her microblogging website, “In the city of Love, Paris, with Family. Looks like a great Christmas. Wishing you all a merry Christmas and happy holidays.” We hear that Amala will spend some time, travelling in the European continent and visiting some of its beautiful cities. Director Aishwaryaa Dhanush too joins this list of globetrotters. She tweeted, “Off on a much needed family vacation. Happy holidays my lovely tweeple! Lots of love and light.”
