What seemed to make the figure seem more enormous was the time for which PeeCee was reportedly claiming the fee — seven minutes. Even as industry watchers got busy calculating just how much over one crore that was per minute, the organisers clarified that the actual agreement was for Rs 1.5 crore for a 20-minute performance. “The event manager who brokered the deal has confirmed that Priyanka is being paid Rs 1.5 crore for 20 minutes,” said a source in the know.
