Had Nazriya lost a few films because of the problems she had had with Naiyaandi?

“Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah is my first signed Tamil movie. When Anis approached me for the lead role in it, I was studying in class 11, and I was excited that he took the bold step of casting a newcomer in his Tamil film. It is very special to me,” remarked a visibly happy Nazriya at the press gathering for her upcoming movie. The Mollywood actress was in the news for her allegation that Sargunam, director of her earlier film, Naiyaandi, used a body double for a sleazy scene without her knowledge. “This was where I learnt about the Tamil industry, how to speak Tamil etc. But my other movies got released too,” she says.

TEN in which she teams up with Jai, “has colour, festivities, joy, Indian weddings and their celebration, rich culture and traditions. It will be a romantic fun film for the entire family,” she says.

Had she lost a few films because of the problems she had had with Naiyaandi?  “Let’s only talk about Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah now,” she says briskly.
Anis, cinematographer Loganathan and music composer Gibran were present on the occasion. Produced by V.Ravichandran of Aascar Films, the film’s lead hero Jai was away, shooting for Vadacurry.
