Being among the hottest young actors in B’wood, one would imagine that Varun Dhawan would have some spectacular plans to bring in the New Year. But no, Varun has something far more staid on his mind — work.
The SOTY star has said that he will be shooting for Karan Johar’s 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya' (for which he has teamed up with Alia Bhatt once again) on New Year’s Eve. So any elaborate party plans are out of the question. “I may party with a few close friends after pack-up, but not for too long, as I have to shoot the next day,” Varun told us.
Varun recently wrapped up the shoot of 'Main Tera Hero', directed by his father David Dhawan.
The actor also said that he had received several offers to perform at New Year shindigs, thanks to the dancing prowess he showed off in his first film. However, Varun has not accepted any because his shoots have kept him busy and he doesn’t want to shift gears — or his focus.
