Sreekar Prasad is now in the Limca Book of Records for his achievements in the film Industry.
Cinema is not always about actors and directors, it’s the technicians who give it a shape as a whole.
Sreekar Prasad, a film editor, has edited films in 15 languages, which includes foreign languages, and won seven National Awards and a special Jury award too.
“Awards are introduced as a token of encouragement to an artiste. I am happy that people have recognised my work,” he said.
How did he work in 15 different languages? “It is tough, at times, but in the process, one gets an opportunity to learn all these languages, the culture and the way they tell stories,” he said. “I am happy to edit a good film irrespective of the language.”
