Parthiban is back in full form in K’town. The actor who was seen in a prominent role in the recently released flick, 'Jannal Oram', is busy with his directorial venture, 'Kadhai Thiraikadhai Vasanam Iyakkam'.
The actor has quietly completed a film, 'Tihar', directed by Perarasu where he plays a notorious don, named Alexander. The movie is rumoured to be a sequel to the Mammootty-starrer, 'Samrajyam', which saw the rise and fall of a dangerous dada, Alexander, who was a hunted criminal in the country. 'Tihar' chronicles the problems faced by Alexander’s son, Jordan, after the former’s demise.
Kannada heroine Priyanka has been roped in to play Parthiban’s pair in the movie. “Most of the film has been shot in Puduchery. Recently, a romantic number picturised on Parthiban and Priyanka was also shot there and also a few fight sequences,” said Perarasu.
