Kochi: Industrialist Kochouseph Chittilappilly, who created a controversy by giving a Rs 5-lakh reward to home maker Sandhya Suresh for voicing her protest against the LDF agitation, has announced Rs 5 lakh to Jaseera, who has taken her fight against the sand mafia to Indraprastha.
“We will consult Jaseera to identify a suitable date to hand over the cash. Since she is in Delhi, we have given preference for her availability,” said Kochouseph Chittilappilly.
"After my award to Sandhya, many drew my attention to Jazeera of Kannur , who is now leading a solo protest in Delhi with her children against illegal sand mining. Her conviction, courage and concern for the environment truly deserve appreciation,” he said.
