I follow a sugar-free diet: Neha Dhupia

A body can’t be built in a day just as Rome wasn’t. It takes time to shape up and be fit all the time. I don’t treat my fitness routine as a fashion trend but a daily routine. One should hit the gym or work out under proper guidance as our bodies behave differently.

I normally go for cardiovascular and weight-training sessions. I swim, run and also opt for pilates and muscle-toning exercises, as they induce no health-injuries and help in strengthening the core as well as improve the body postures. I like working out with high energy music being played in the background. It adds fun to your labour. Though I am an outdoor person, I often indulge in a game of squash too. I make sure to carry a pair of sneakers and a yoga mat whenever I’m travelling so that it doesn’t create a break in my exercise rhythm.

I try and follow a sugar-free diet as it keeps the calorie-count in check and also controls undue fat-deposition. But my dietician prescribes ‘pinch-eating’ for me. So I make sure I eat small meals intermittently.
