Power scenario in AP better than last year, says Kiran Reddy
Kiran Reddy says AP bifurcation have no impact on investment scenario in the state.
Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy today expressed hope that the state will have sufficient power for industries in the current year.
He said though the state experienced shortage of power during last year, the situation is better now. Speaking at a function organised by Pepsico, the Chief Minister said power plants with a combined installed capacity of over 7,000 mw in the state, are sitting idle due to lack of supply of gas.
Referring to the investment scenario in Andhra Pradesh, Reddy said though there were agitations in the state on the bifurcation issue, it did not deter industries from investing in the state.
