No politics, want to live happily: Akshay Kumar
Kolkata, December 20: Bollywood star Akshay Kumar today said it was a strict no-no for him to enter politics and he would instead like to contribute to health and sports.
"Why should I venture into unknown territory?" Akshay here for East Bengal's pre-centennary celebrations, said. "I want to live happily. that's all I want to do. In a very separate way, I want to do something only for sports and health. "If you ask me about sports and health, I can write a book on it. So, I don't want to get into all that. I've earned enough fame in my life, I want to serve through sports and health," the Bollywood action hero said.
"I'm currently into production that is keeping me busy. Besides my one-year-old daughter keeps me occupied the most," he added.
Giving the same view, new Bollywood sensation Sonakshi Sinha, daughter of actor turned BJP MP Shatrughan Sinha, said, "A lot of people have asked me this because my father is into politics. "But I don't think that's reason enough for me to get into it. I believe I'm better off entertaining the people right now."
Sonakshi, whose lead role of a zamindar Bengali girl, won her accolades said "I've already played Bengali characters in two of my Hindi films. "Bengali cinema is amazing, you've made some wonderful films here. I would love to do a Bengali cinema if I get the right offer."
