Nagraju made the shortlist for the final selection trials of the Airtel Rising Stars football talent hunt, scheduled to take place at Goa in February.
The Andhra Pradesh Sports School player is one of the two goalkeepers selected for the final trials, the other being Bengaluru’s Premchand Singh.
Nagraju is one among 25 footballers who will vie for 11 spots at a week-long training stint alongside Manchester United at Old Trafford.
The shortlisted players will attend a camp-cum-selection trials conducted by coaches from the Manchester United Soccer Schools (MUSS).
The players’ physical attributes, skills, fitness levels and performances will be tested in matches after which, 11 will be chosen to travel to Manchester.
