Kochi: Kerala held Tamil Nadu to a draw on the final day of the Vijay Merchant Trophy under-16 south zone cricket match at Chennai on Thursday. With the draw, Kerala remained as the group toppers with 14 points from four matches.
After taking a 53-run lead Tamil Nadu had reached 178 for 7 in the second innings at the end of the match. Earlier on the previous day, Kerala were all out for 199 in reply to Tamil Nadu’s first innings score of 252.
For Tamil Nadu, A.A. Subikshan hit 47 while Joseph of Kerala took two wickets for 24 runs on the final day.
