Bengaluru: Abhishek Shetty's century helped Mangalore Zone pull off a draw against Bangalore City IX in the KSCA U-14 Inter-Zonal selection match, on Thursday .
Chasing City XI's 471 for 7 Mangalore, resuming at 32 for two, were served valiantly by Shetty (108) but were bowled out for 160 in 63.4 overs with Aman Khancscalping 6-49.
City opting to bat again despite a 311-run lead put up 147 for 5 in 35 overs before reducing Mangalore to 75 for six in 21 overs before they ran out of time.
Meanwhile, Ritwik Ramesh's seven for 19 inspired Combined City Xi to comfortable win over Raichur Zone.
Raichur Zone was bowled out for 126 and 107 in the two innings while Combined City X, who put up 233 in the first innings, needed only four in the second innings to claim the match.
