Power star sky dives
Breath taking stunts such as skydiving and deep sea fights are often associated with Hollywood and a rarity in Bollywood or Sandalwood. Wait for a month and our own Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar, will be seen fighting the baddies “in air" on foreign land! One of the most highly-anticipated movies of Puneeth Rajkumar this season, the film is creating a buzz prior to its release for the extraordinary aerial stunts which have been coordinated by none other than the Hollywood fame aerial stunt cinematography expert Joe Jennings.
“It was incredible, especially getting hold of Joe Jennings to do an Indian film that too a South Indian film. As a team, we have done unbelievable stuff and I am really proud of this venture. I can say that no one in Indian cinema has shot anything like this. Hats off to Puneeth for doing a lot of stunts him self. This man is great. I usually give him a big hug after every shot," says director Jayanth C Paranje.
He further adds, “I have known about Puneeth's talent as a dancer and the kind of stunts he can perform. Most of the time, I have advised him not to do risky ones and involve others but he likes getting involved, I truly appreciate his effort and dedication. It is going to be a visual treat, I can promise you that much. I am really happy to work with Joe and the producer Vijay Kumar."
The skydive expert Joe Jennings, who has been roped into capture the amazing stunts has experience in filming skydiving stunts for hundreds of motion picture projects in Hollywood. He has shot the aerial stunts with a 35 mm helmet mounted red epic camera.
Jennings is a leading expert when it comes to capturing aerial stunts. “He has great experience of understanding storytelling with at least three to four thousand jumps, which he has performed so far to just improve his camera flying skills. He is well equipped with a team of expert skydivers, pilots and riggers," he adds.
Most of skydivers used in 'Ninindhale' have won world championships titles in various disciplines, and hence the graceful results are there to see.
Master Khamphakdee, who has choreographed scores of Hollywood movies, has also worked for 'Ninindhale'. The Power Star will be seen in a different avatar this time.
Mangalore girl and former Miss Maharashtra Erica Fernandes is playing the lead opposite Puneeth and Telugu comedy artiste Brahmananda is playing a cameo in the movie. The audio is expected to be released by Telugu star Mahesh Babu this month, and the movie is slotted for a January 2014 release.
