Rahul Madhav now has a clutch of big banner films

Rahul Madhav got his major break in films with the hit film 'Memories', in which he was cast as Prithviraj's younger brother. This film turned the spotlight on him and Rahul now has a clutch of big banner films.

Acknowledging the fresh lease of life that 'Memories' has bestowed, Rahul says it was a turning point of his career. Rahul had the added advantage of bonding with Prithviraj and learning the ropes from him. Rahul is once again cast with Prithviraj in '7th Day'.

Rahul's cup of joy is overflowing. He says, “I play a cool guy in the film!" Rahul mentions Prithviraj's support for newcomers and gushes, “For some reason, Prithviraj has the impression that I am a very good actor, so that makes me very conscious while sharing screen space with him. I become tense while acting with him as I have to live up to his expectations. Prithviraj is very well versed with every single aspect of filmmaking. I pick up valuable nuances when I am acting with him."

Rahul has been signed for 'True Story', opposite Priyamani and 'Medulla Oblong Katta', which is a tale of friendship. A big project in Tamil with Jeyam Ravi and Nayanthara in M. Raja's untitled film is also in Rahul's kitty.

The Kollywood shoot was fun because he had some Malayali co-stars including Nayanthara about whom he shyly says, “She is so pretty and very down to earth. Even on days when I did not have a shoot, I used to go to the sets to just see her! Working with all these stars has made me understand that they have reached where they are because of their sheer talent and hard work. They are professionals who place cinema above everything else."
