Kottayam: Kerala Congress chairman, P.C.Thomas on Monday denied rumours that he had been ousted from the party.
“I would consider it a joke, as according to the constitution of the party, only the party state committee has the power to take action against a member,” he said.
P.C.Thomas said he had already sent a legal notice to Scaria Thomas seeking an explanation for his allegation that constituency presidents of the party had assumed their posts by bribing P.C. Thomas.
“Since Scaria Thomas’s allegations are defamatory to the party, I am seeking an explanation for his comments. I will seek legal action against him, if his explanation is not satisfactory,” P.C.Thomas said.
