Debutant director Ashik has grabbed the attention of movie buffs with the title, 'Vu'. The movie is said to be a full-length comedy with a new cast. The significance of the title is that it’s the director’s, cinematographer’s and music director’s first film, 'Vu' being the auspicious symbol for a good start. Thambi Rammaiya is playing the lead role for the first time. “The film is about four youngsters who do things differently in life. This film will give Thambi Rammaiya’s profile a different dimension,” says Ashik.
Aajith of Airtel Super Singer fame who comes on screen for the first time has even sung a song in this flick as has Thambi Rammaiya. Neha, a debutante, plays the female lead. Music is composed by another debutant, Abhijith Ramaswami. Cinematography is by Jaya Prakash.
