He plays the lead role in '49-O'
One man who ruled K’town a decade ago is back. It’s none other than the ace comedian and actor Goundamani, who has started shooting for a film called '49-O', and he plays the lead role in this flick.
The director of the film is Arokiadoss and it’s said to be his first film. “It’s a full-length political comedy,” he says. The reason he got Goundamani, in particular, on board, was because “I believe that apart from being a comedian, he is a versatile actor who could pull off any given role. When I wrote this script, I was sure that only he could do justice to it. I am happy that things are shaping up well,” says Arokiadoss. Goundamani, is also shooting for another film, titled Vaaimai, in which Shanthanoo plays the lead role.
