“Gypsy soul exploring and wandering through life on my motorcycle...” reads the status on actress Tara D’Souza’s social networking site. But for the past two days, the gypsy soul hasn’t stepped out of her house, the reason being the loss of her “grandmother”.
The “grandmother” in this case is Tara’s bike Babushka, which means “grandmother” in Russian.
Tara, who had got back home at 10 pm on Saturday night, was shocked to find the bike missing.
“It’s not just a bike for me. It has a lot of sentimental value attached to it. I bought it second hand after I saw the picture on a Facebook page, where old bikes are sold. The bike is from the same year I was born — 1986 — and I have travelled everywhere on that bike… Mumbai, Goa, Hyderabad etc.,” says Tara, who has put up a picture of her bike on Fb asking people to help her find it.
