Visakhapatnam: Internet has pervaded into the privacy of our rooms and hence there is great need to be on the guard all times said, AU registrar, Prof. K. Rama Mohan Rao here on Sunday.
Prof. Ram Mohan Rao was speaking at a two-day national workshop on Cyber Forensics and Information Security which concluded on Sunday.
Prof Rama Mohan Rao said, “there is need to uphold the ethical values in the society and when we live up to the ethics that our forefathers have given us, there is no need for any security.”
“In age of cyber technology we do not know the enemy and hence a defence circle is need to be created to have a peaceful sleep,” said Prof Rao.
Senior advocate and president Forum of legal professionals Kuppili Muralidhar who participated as guest of honour called upon the engineering students who have assembled there as audience to make the best and beneficial uses of technology.
“Use the technology as a good tool to enrich you, but never use technology for self destruction,” he said. Head of Department of English, Prof. Narayana said hacking could also be made a course in curriculum. Prof. V. Vijayalakshmi said that hackers are hired by companies to check security system.
