'D for Dopidi' breaks record before release

Sundeep Kishan and Varun Sandesh starrer 'D for Dopidi' is creating a buzz even before its release thanks to the people involved in the film. Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. began producing the movie and were joined by Ttown actor Nani who came on board as a partner later.

The latest buzz is that the satellite rights of the film have been bought by Gemini TV at a record price. The amount is said to be the highest in recent times for films made within this particular budget. Sources also reveal that the deal was inked much before the release of Sundeep's latest hit 'Venkatadri Express'.

'D for Dopidi' also marks the directorial debut of Siraj Kalla. The makers have decided to release it on 25 December under Dil Raju's Sri Venkateshwara Creations banner.
