Mammootty starrer 'Gangster', which brings him together with director Aashiq Abu after their first venture 'Daddy Cool' is progressing on schedule.
However, Alphonse Putharen, who was said to be the editor for the movie will not be joining the team because of date issues.
“I'm busy with the work of the Hindi remake of 'Shutter' and I'm finding it difficult to slot in a date for 'Gangster'. I have already discussed it with the team and I will not be joining 'Gangster'," says Putharen.
'Gangster' will see Mammootty essay the role of a don and will also be joined by Fahadh Faasil and Sekhar Menon.
