Despite running a high fever, Shah Rukh Khan made it to the premiere of Sachiin Joshi's new film, 'Jackpot' -albeit a little late.
While SRK missed the actual screening of the film, he ensured that he spent an hour at the venue, chatting with the cast and crew and director Kaizad Gustad.
“I had asked Sachiin to act in my film, but he wanted to work independently and I respect that," the King Khan said, when quizzed about his equation with the 'Jackpot' actor. He added that since he'd missed watching the film, he would have it screened later at his residence, Mannat - but only if Kaizad was okay with the idea. Kaizad of course, consented gladly.
“A star is a star because of his relationships, not his stardom. Shah Rukh Khan is the biggest star ever," Sachiin said, when asked about SRK's presence at the premiere.
Sohail Khan, Sudhir Mishra, Bunty Walia and several other Btown guests also attended the premiere, which took place at a suburban multiplex in Mumbai. Sachiin's wife and former model Urvashi Sharma was present as well.
