Actress Udaya Bhanu has accused the director and producer of her film, 'Madhumathi', of not giving any details about the film's release and of misinforming her about the film.
“When I was in Tirupati, I got to know that the film would be released on December 13. The promotions showed a few obscene scenes without showing any face. But my dialogues are there in the promos. I was afraid that they might tamper with my image in the film and so I wanted to see the film before its release. I approached the director and producer to arrange a show for me, which they refused," says Udaya Bhanu.
On her behest, the police, on Thursday night, asked the producer to arrange a show for Udaya Bhanu. “I had agreed to do the film because the director had narrated a good story and it could be a dream role for any actress. I was not there in the film for the first half-an hour," says Udaya Bhanu.
While she said that her image had not been morphed in the film, she accused the makers of releasing morphed photos to the media. She adds that she will fight against the producer and director about the morphed pictures and her remuneration which she hasn't received.
