Vivek is the actual hero, says Karl Marx
Noted Tamil filmmaker V.Shekar, who is known for his family-oriented films, is launching his son, Karl Marx, in a film titled 'Saravana Poigai'. Having done an engineering course and obtained an MBA, Marx left his plum job to enter the film industry. Arundhathi is cast as his romantic interest.
“The title makes people think that it is a devotional film. But it is not! It’s a full-fledged love story with my dad’s signature style of humour. I play a person who works in a theatre in Palani and falls for the theatre owner’s daughter. The struggles he faces and how he finally wins the hand of his beloved forms the crux of the film. The film’s actual hero is Vivek, who plays himself in the movie. Mine is a pivotal character,” Karl Marx told DC.
The film also has yet another top comedian, Karunas, appearing in a key character. Aarthi, M.S. Bhaskar and Vijay Chiranjeevi appear as the supporting cast.
The audio of the movie, composed by Vijay, was recently launched, with several top guns of K’town, including Bharathiraja, K.S. Ravikumar, Bhagyaraj, R.K. Selvamani, Vivek and others gracing the occasion.
