Civic groups gravitate towards Aam Aadmi Party
Loksatta Party and other civic bodies to join hands with AAP for corruption-free governance in K'tka.

Bangalore: Impressed by the performance of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in polls in New Delhi, the Loksatta Party as well as several civic organisations such as the National Committee for Protection of Natural Resources, Jan Sangram Parishat, Samaj Parivartana Samudaya, Rashtriya Bahusankyath Swayam Sevak Trust announced they would join hands with AAP for corruption-free governance in Karnataka.
Soon after AAP's spectacular political debut in the national capital, these anti-graft outfits, activists and leaders of parties such as Loksatta highlighted instances of corruption and the involvement of politicians in cases of land-grabbing, encroachment and the dubious recruitment process adopted by Karnataka Public Service Commission.
All of them chanted the mantra of governance free of corruption with the likelihood of a joint effort to rid the state of graft.
