A new study has revealed that adults are more likely to text and use phones while driving than teens.

According to AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety's report, several adult drivers admitted using their phone while driving, CBS News reported.

According to the report, 82 percent of adults aged 25-39 years have admitted that they use their phone when behind the wheel, while only 58 percent teens confessed to the same, with 7 percent claiming that they send texts while driving.

The data collected as part of the 2013's Traffic Safety Culture Index has shown that adults of 60 years and older were the least likely to report using their cell phones while driving.
