I strictly follow my curfew: Sonakshi Sinha

Sonakshi Sinha talks about following her mother’s rules and her childhood days with her troublesome brothers.

Not only does Sonakshi Sinha steer clear of controversies, she also strictly adheres to the diktats of father Shatrughan Sinha and mother Punam.

She says that her parents ensured that she and her siblings knew their Indian ethical values so that they remained unaffected by the world of glitz and glamour.

“I was my dad’s pet. Whenever Luv and Kush (her twin brothers) would trouble me I would get them punished. While one would pull my hair and disappear the other would get punished. Earlier as a kid I too would get confused between the two. But now I don’t have any problems. Luv is on the calmer side,” says Sonakshi remembering her childhood.

“As a kid, I was very fond of Barbie dolls so whenever dad traveled abroad he would bring back loads of lovely Barbie dolls. I enjoyed playing with them,” she adds.

Coming back to her current work schedule, the actor says, “My mother takes care of my curfew timings. I am supposed to reach home by 1.30 pm and I make it a point to wrap up my assignments before the curfew. Like any other mother, my mom too starts calling me up if I happen to cross the curfew time,” she says, adding with a smile, “I never had to climb through windows. I always reach home on time. Also I stay on the top floor so climbing through windows is not possible. I always discuss my work and my dresses etc. with mom.”
