MMS helps nab Hyderabad techie’s killer
Hyderabad: Chandrashekhar Goud, 35, a techie from Sanjeev Reddy Nagar who had been missing for a week, was found murdered in a forest at Vikarabad on Tuesday.
Police sources said that Goud’s brother-in-law, Arun Kumar, had got him killed by hired assassins for forcibly divorcing his sister. The SR Nagar police solved the case with the help of an MMS clip found on Arun Kumar’s phone, which the killers had sent as proof that the deed had been done.
Chandrashekhar, a resident of BK Guda near Venkateswara Temple, SR Nagar, had been missing since last Wednesday. Two days after the incident, the police found that his brother-in-law Arun Kumar and his aides had kidnapped him for divorcing the former’s sister.
Chandrashekhar, who worked as a software engineer in a private firm in the city, had married his first wife, Sandhya, four years ago. However, they separated due to frequent quarrels. Later, he married another woman, Lavanya, with whom he had been living at BK Guda for the last one year.

Hyderabad: The two hired killers who murdered techie Chandrashekhar Goud shot a video of the crime on a mobile and sent it to the victim’s brother-in-law Arun Kumar as proof. Arun in turn, sent the MMS to his sister Sandhya, who lives in Chennai.
Police said that Sandhya and her brother held a grudge against Chandrashekhar for divorcing her and took the help of hired killers to eliminate him.
Last Thursday, Chandrashekar’s mother Ms Ramulammma had lodged a missing case complaint. with the SR Nagar police.
