Deepika Padukone is in a 'Happy' place

After a blockbuster year in 2013, Deepika Padukone is looking forward to a very 'Happy New Year' in 2014. The second schedule of the film has begun and Deepika will be joining the fun in the New Year. “Yes, I resume the shoot in January. I am sure it is going to be a lot of fun. I experienced it first hand during the last schedule in Dubai and can’t wait to get started all over again next month,” says Deepika, who’s now taking a well-deserved break after four successful releases in a span of 11 months.

“'Happy New Year' will be a fun trip, with me surrounded by these five tremendously funny men,” she says with a smile. The film also stars Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani and Vivaan Shah.

As for the other woman on the sets, Farah Khan, Deepika is happy to reunite with her six years after 'Om Shanti Om'. “I am being pampered like anything. A very important rule for me to be a part of a film is to have a blast. I had that in Dubai a few weeks ago. Now I can’t wait to be back on the sets again,” she says.
