Hyderabad: P. Nirmal Kumar and B. Somalingam advanced to the main round of the AISTA-AITA senior national tennis championship being held in Hyderabad.
In the 65-plus singles category, Nirmal defeated Ashok Biwarpurkar 9-4 while Somalingam beat Lakshman Ambulkar by a similar scoreline.
