Bengaluru: Kunal Nagpal’s and Daniel Joplin’s all-round performances powered Jain International Residential School to a big 228-run victory over Bethany High School in the U-14 BTR tournament, on Monday.
Taking first strike, JIRS raced to 339 for 3 in 50 overs with Nagpal (146 n.o.) and Jopling (107) taking a heavy toll on the rival attack.
In reply, Bethany were bowled out for 111 in 33.5 overs with Vatsal Jain grabbing 5-9 while Nagpal (2-26) and Joplin (2-20) got into the act.
