Kochi: A disciplined Kerala bowling attack restricted Goa to 152 in the first innings of south zone U-16 Vijay Merchant cricket tournament at Chennai on Monday .
Fanoos and Sijomon Joseph claimed three wickets each and Akhil Anil struck a double as Goa failed to build partnerships and capitalise from a decent 69 for 2.
Opener Khutkar top scored with 41 runs and A.A. Naik remained unbeaten on 34 for the Goan side.
In reply, Kerala lost opener Rohan Kunnummal for a duck, but managed to play out the 9 overs in the day scoring 30. Anand Krishnan is unbeaten on 21.
