A seven-year-old girl, Priyadarshini was allegedly stabbed to death by a youth at Secunderabad Railway Station on Tuesday, at around 11.30 AM. The victim was with her mother on platform No. 10, waiting for her father Srinivas who had gone to get- Priyadarshini's sister weeps inconsolably outside the Gandhi Hospital mortuary in Secunderabad. - The girl, Priyadarshini, who received multiple stab injuries in the attack, died on the way to hospital.

- The victim's father, Srinivas, saw a man in his 20's attacking his daughter with a knife on her face, neck and back and raised an alarm. He ran towards his daughter to rescue her when the assailant pushed her aside and ran away.
