Actress plays second lead in the Allu Arjun and Shruti Haasan starrer.
Remember Saloni, from Rajamouli’s hit film 'Maryada Ramanna' three years ago? After that, the actress tried her luck in a few women-oriented films but she failed to taste success again. She will now play the second female lead in Allu Arjun-starrer 'Race Gurram', while Shruti Haasan essays the main lead.
My character is quite traditional,” informs Saloni, who followed up her act in 'Maryada Ramanna' with the female-centric film 'Telugammayi'. “I don’t want to keep playing the same stereotypical characters that I’m being offered after 'Telugammayi'. I’d like to play different roles,” adds the actress, who is also busy in the Kannada film industry. Saloni will join the 'Race Gurram' team in a few days to shoot a few action scenes.
