Children's forum opened at IFFK

18 participants from eight South Asian countries attended the second round table on South Asian Children's Film.

Eighteen participants from eight South Asian countries attended the second roundtable on South Asian Children's Film, organized by South Asian Children's Cinema Forum (SACCF) at IFFK here on Monday.

The conference discussed current trends in production, marketing and screening of children films.

'Black Forest' director Joshy Mathew, at the conference, said the State Government had reduced the tax on children's films.

IFFK was the launch pad for the Roundtable on South Asian Films, which was part of last years' festival.

Director of Arabani and special invitee at the conference, Adi Adwani, said his upcoming film would be about children.

Delegates, including Rustam Vania, Michael Joseph, Kathy Loizon, Golda Nellam, Catherine Masad, Batu, Susan Benn, Joshy Mathew, Monica, Mahamayo Dinanayak, Sannette, Maluk, Arun Gupta and Roy Mathew attended the meeting on the first day.
