Kozhikode: Kerala Congress (M) leader and Government Chief Whip P.C. George said the Congress-led United Democratic Front government in the state had lost its secular character.
Addressing a function organized by the State Human Rights Protection Centre in Kozhikode on Sunday, George said that due to the loss of its secular character even the good things done by the Government had failed to reach the people.
George also said that both the Central and State Governments were not making any meaningful intervention to solve the issues faced by the large section of expatriate community in the state.
“The performance of Minister K.C. Joseph in the state and Valylar Ravi at the Centre has been pathetic”, he said.
