Chennai: Tamil Nadu Governor K. Rosaiah on Sunday launched “My Doctors’ Directory”, a comprehensive, ready reckoner booklet that will provide a list of doctors, key specialists and hospitals located in and around Chennai. The directory will also have doctors’ phone numbers.
It was organised by Vista India Communications on the occasion of ‘Mayan Awards 2013’, that were presented to 25 veterans from healthcare and construction industries.
The Governor presented the awards and also launched the first copy of the directory that was received by Prof D. Shantharam, vice-chancellor of Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University.
Speaking on the occasion, Narendra B. Davey of Vista India said the awards were to pay tribute to the industries.
“My Doctors’ Directory will be handy for Chennaiites and will be useful for people who look for treatment from specialists,” he said.
