Los Angeles, Dec 9: American film director Bryan Singer has revealed the release date of new superhero film 'X-Men: Apocalypse'.
The 48-year-old filmmaker recently completed the filming of 'X-Men: Days of Future Past', which features stars from the X-Men original films and the prequel, 'X-Men: First Class', reported Variety.
Singer announced through Twitter that 'X-Men: Apocalypse' would arrive in 2016.
'X-Men: Days of Future Past' is slated to release on May 23, 2014.
The movie stars Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Halle Berry, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Daniel Cudmore, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult and Michael Fassbender.
