It's not uncommon for the wives of film directors to turn into costume designers for their films. The latest to jump onto the bandwagon is the wife of 'Adu Magadura Bujji' director Krishna Reddy Gangadhasuu.
According to a close source, she got into a fight with the film's leading lady Poonam Kaur. Apparently, the actress refused to wear a costume given by the designer for a particular song, and insisted on wearing something of her own. “But the director's wife clearly said 'You have to wear this' and walked out," says a source.
Since the director is cool and nice to everyone, he allowed the film's leading man Sudhir Babu to get his personal designer Neeraja Kona to design his outfits. That could have triggered off his wife's anger and she took it out on Poonam.
When the shoot was wrapped up, a unit member cheekily commented, “Not everyone is Rajamouli's wife."
