YSRC leader to approach Supreme Court against Telangana
Hyderabad: YSR Congress leader K. Raghuram Krishnama Raju said he will approach the Supreme Court again challenging the bifurcation. Speaking to the media here on Friday Krishnamaraju said the
Telangana draft bill contains several proposals which are not practical. Raju said he will approach the court in a few days. Raju, TD leader Payyavula Kesav and others approached the Supreme Court earlier regarding the same issue.
The court had said that their petitions were premature and gave them an opportunity to approach the court at an appropriate time.
Since the process of division has been at the stage of executive decision and it has not been tabled before the Parliament, this is not the right time for the court to intervene, the SC had said. Raju said this is the correct time to approach the court regarding bifurcation.
