Actress Sumona Chakravarti, popular as “Kapil ki biwi” from 'Comedy Nights with Kapil' and Natasha from 'Bade Achche Lagte Hai', has been noticed for her stylish appearance on both shows. As we catch up with the actress she says that she likes dressing relatively simpler off screen, but still keeps it stylish.
Speaking about her favourite outfits Sumona says, “I am not brand conscious, I just pick up anything I like. I am a pyjamas or shorts and T-shirt person. If I am stepping out with friends I like to wear dresses or jeans and a T-shirt. I wear Indian outfits on special occasions but I’ve worn saris so much in my shows that I prefer salwar-kameez now.”
The actress adds that when it comes to accessories, she has fixed preferences. “I need to wear my watch all the time, unless the character demands that I have to take it off. I am not too much into jewellery but occasionally pick up neck pieces with beads from Curio Cottage. I am not into Indian jewellery except maybe jhumkas to go with Indian wear,” says the actress.
The actress, known for her clear, dusky complexion, shares her beauty regime: “I do the regular cleansing, toning and moisturising, twice a day, without fail. I never sleep with make-up on even if I’m home at 4 am and I’m dead tired.
I don’t wear much make-up off screen, just kajal and lip balm. For clear skin it’s important to get enough sleep and keep the body hydrated — that pretty much takes care of my skincare regime.”
