MG University Syndicate suspends Registrar M.R. Unni for the fake certificates produced.
Kottayam: The MG University Syndicate on Thursday suspended Registrar M.R. Unni and decided to recommend to the government to entrust a central agency to inquire into the veracity of his degree and experience certificates which he had produced at the time of his appointment as registrar.
The suspension will be in force from Thursday till the inquiry is completed.
The decision follows the report submitted by a three-member committee which expressed doubt about the veracity of his certificates.
The committee said that Unni hadn't submitted his degree certificate or provisional certificate for joining the MA course.
The experience certificate he had produced as NCC officer was false.
