Shah Rukh Khan to return to Yash Raj Films?

Shah Rukh Khan may be returning to his old hunting grounds.

After his success with Rohit Shetty’s 'Chennai Express', we hear that Shah Rukh Khan may be returning to his old (read, YRF) hunting grounds. The King Khan, it seems, is in talks with director Maneesh Sharma (of 'Band Baaja Baaraat' and 'Shuddh Desi Romance' fame) to star in his next project for YRF.

“Shah Rukh is busy shooting for 'Happy New Year' at the moment. Yes, he did have a meeting with Maneesh and has verbally committed to play the lead in his film. However, he is yet to sign on the dotted line,” said a source from the production house.

Known for being staunchly loyal to the YRF camp, SRK last worked with the production house in 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan'.

In the meantime, YRF is looking at the possibility of roping in a top actress to star opposite the King Khan in Maneesh’s film. Since Deepika Padukone is already working with SRK in 'Happy New Year', the two names that are being considered are that of Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. “Since both the actress have bulk dates to allot for the film, let’s see who bags the opportunity,” our source added.
