Akshay Kumar on a mini break
Akshay Kumar has been working at a maniacal pace the past few months. With a series of releases such as 'Housefull 2', 'Rowdy Rathore', 'Joker', 'OMG — Oh My God!', 'Khiladi 786', 'Special 26', 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobaraa' and 'Boss' slated one after the other, 'Akshay Kumar' has barely had any time for breathe. But looks like the actor finally has a mini break. His next release 'Holiday', a remake of 'Thuppakki', will hit the theatres on May 1.
“So it’s going to be a little over six months since his last release 'Boss'. It’s not like he’s on a total break though. He has already finished shooting for two films in the interim and is in the process of shooting his third. He will also be dubbing for 'It’s Entertainment' and 'Holiday'. But at least he will be spared the rigmarole of promotions,” informs a source.
His releases next year also include 'Shaukeen' and 'Gabbar'. This makes him the only actor in Bollywood to have an average of three releases each year.
