Rs 16cr released to Andhra University, says?Vice-Chancellor
Visakhapatnam: Andhra University Vice-Chancellor Prof. G.S.N. Raju, said the department of science and technology, Government of India, released Rs 16 cr ore to the varsity for improving the infrastructure and laboratories.
He inspected the spot valuation of B.Ed exams at School of Distance Education on Tuesday and said many funding agencies are coming forward to support the university.
He also said the teachers have to be very careful and impartial in evaluating answer scripts since it involves the career of many students, who have hopes on their future.
Prof. N.L. Narasimha Rao, director of the school of distance education; Prof. Nirmala Jyothi, Chairman, Board of Studies; Prof Viswes-wara Rao, Dean, PG & professional examinations were present.
