Hyderabad: GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd (GHIAL), which manages the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport here said on Wednesday that it has bagged Center for Asia Pacific Aviation's 'Airport Marketing Award 2013', in the under-15 million passengers per annum category.
The award was presented to GHIAL during the 10th Annual CAPA Aviation Awards for Excellence at Amsterdam recently, a press release from GMR said.
The selection criteria included demonstration of a comprehensive and multi-faceted route development strategy and overall success of the marketing effort in adding air services and attracting new airlines, it said.
SGK Kishore, Chief Executive Office, GHIAL, said, "We are delighted to be recognised by CAPA....Winning this award demonstrates our commitment in building more connections and attracting airlines to Hyderabad."
